Where are You - Right Now?
You may be
- looking into working from home for the first time or
- you have already been in a company in the past or
- you still are in one right this very moment,
Well no matter where you are currently "at" one thing is very common!
That one thing that you are probably being told by your upline (or sponsor) is to "Tell everyone you know!" Make a list, call them up and tell them all about the new company you are in and the great products they have!
Don't get me wrong - in some cases it works. For some people it works fantastically, but you cannot duplicate it. If Bob is a popular guy and has 1,000 friends, a number of those will join. Some may come along demanding to join on hearing about it from some of Bob's other friends. And a number may become regular customers.
On the other hand, if George doesn't really know too many people, he's not going to have the same results as Bob.
I personally know for a fact that telling the people that I know, anything about any Direct Marketing Company, results in getting that all too familiar, knowing nod of the head and the "yes Tim, it sounds wonderful but I think I'll pass. I'll wait till you make your Millions.....
Some people just don't want to know. It's because they haven't been looking, and no matter what you say or do, they just aint interested. They have their set ways and up pop the barriers the moment you mention anything remotely "Outside of the Box".
